Aircraft Structural Repair Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled aircraft structural repair specialist to join our team in a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out sheet metal repairs according to relevant repair standards and procedures.
  2. Perform composite repairs in accordance with approved methods and techniques.
  3. Assist in corrosion/damage removal and assessment, ensuring effective mitigation of potential issues.
  4. Support the development of improved structural repair processes and implementation of best practices.
  5. Maintain and update company sheet metal tooling associated with the sheet metal workshop.
  6. Train and assist in structural repair work and sheet metal practices, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  7. Adhere to safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
  8. Provide sheet metal support at other bases and during airworthiness events.
  9. Possess a Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Structures.
  10. Have at least 5 years of experience in aircraft structural repairs.
  11. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  12. Show a highly motivated and enthusiastic attitude.
  13. Exhibit sound work ethics.
Preferred Selection Criteria:
  1. Heavy maintenance experience.
  2. NDI experience or approvals.
  3. CASA B1 & A1 licence.
