SalaryThe estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, plus competitive salary packaging options up to $15,990 and an optional Meals and Entertainment card up to $2,650 per annum.
Job DescriptionAs a Care Services Employee at St Vincent's Care Services Edgecliff, you will partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle and choices, ensuring they feel safe, valued, respected and engaged. You will provide direct care and assistance to residents with all activities of daily living, personal care needs (including personal hygiene) and attend to the daily running of the household as part of a supportive, dedicated team.
Located just 4km east of Sydney's city centre, our small but homey 39 bed facility is situated in a tranquil, leafy suburb within walking distance of public transport.
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about providing care that is sensitive to resident's individualised needs, preferences and choices, and committed to building strong, meaningful connections with residents.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential
- 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience highly regarded
- Must be available to work AM & PM shifts 3-4 times a week
- Experience and interest in Food services or as a Kitchen hand will be highly regarded
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records
- Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan
