About the Role

Liebherr, a renowned global company, is seeking an experienced Field Service Mechanic to join our Sydney team. As a key member of our Earthmoving division, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, efficient, and compliant diagnostic, maintenance, and component replacement services to our customer base across Sydney. This involves working independently in the field, problem-solving, and fault-finding hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues with heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical diagnosis on heavy machinery
  • Major and minor services
  • Inspect and test electrical and instrumentation systems and components
  • Routine maintenance, repairs, and component replacements
  • Complete Service Reports
  • Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
  • Adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace
What You Will Need

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Trade qualified - Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive plant experience
  • Flexibility to travel and work overtime as required
  • Capable of working independently in the field, problem solving in various situations.
  • Ability to fault find and rectify hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues
  • A current driver's license
  • Forklift, W, T, R, and Air conditioning ticket advantageous
