Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team in the Nowra region, working from your home base. Reporting to the NSW Service Manager, this role is responsible for providing safe, efficient, and compliant diagnostic, maintenance, and component replacements services to our customer base across the South Coast of NSW.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced field service technician/plant mechanic who thrives with autonomy and is passionate about maintaining high standards of work and customer service. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical diagnosis on heavy machinery
  • Major and minor services
  • Inspect and test electrical and instrumentation systems and components
  • Routine maintenance, repairs, and component replacements
  • Complete Service Reports
  • Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
  • Organising your own jobs and quoting
  • Adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Trade qualification / Mobile Plant Mechanic or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive Plant experience
  • An MR Licence
  • Flexibility to travel and work over-time as required
  • The ability to work independently in the field, problem-solving in various situations.
  • The ability to fault-find and rectify hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues
  • An Air conditioning ticket (advantageous)
