Workforce Development Professional

We are seeking an accomplished Workforce Development Professional to assume responsibility for employee wellbeing and relations.

About the Position

This is a full-time permanent role located at our office. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in employee wellbeing, employee relations, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to support the balanced health and wellbeing of all staff members
  • Support employees on their return to work journey, ensuring a smooth transition back to work
  • Collaborate with the Employee Relations Specialist on industrial matters as required
  • Liaise effectively with external stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives
  • Foster connections across cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and shared goals
  • Maintain confidential employee records and prepare relevant reports, upholding data integrity and confidentiality
  • Provide administrative support for HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, documentation, and compliance tracking
  • Support and mediate employee relations issues with empathy and respect
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in employee wellbeing, engagement or a similar HR role
  • In-depth knowledge of employee wellbeing frameworks, mental health, and workplace wellness
  • Strong understanding of employee relations, conflict management, and performance management principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and trust across all staff levels
  • Proven organisational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality, coupled with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in operations or an operational environment is highly regarded
  • The capacity to work intuitively, resiliently, and agilely in a fast-paced environment
