Structural/Metal Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill a key role within our engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sheet metal repairs on aircraft in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Perform composite repairs using established methods and techniques.
  • Assist in the removal and assessment of corrosion/damage.
  • Support the development of improved repair processes and procedures.
  • Maintain and manage the company's sheet metal tooling and equipment.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on structural repair techniques and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations and protocols.
  • Offer technical support at other bases and during AOG events.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Structures (MEA41322 or MEA41318).
  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft structural repair.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit a highly motivated and enthusiastic attitude towards work.
  • Display sound work ethics and a commitment to quality.
  • Meet the requirements for holding an Aviation Security Identity Card.
