We are seeking a talented individual to join our surgical sales team to grow the Alcon Surgical IOL portfolio in their region.

Key Responsibilities:

As an IOL Manager – Surgical Sales, you will be responsible for supporting surgical facilities and overseeing the overall IOL portfolio. You will showcase expertise in our products' benefits and differentiating vs. competitive products by providing high technical consultancy in assigned accounts. You will work with Account Managers, Tender and Pricing teams to provide the right customer solutions.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Driving total IOL revenue and market share in the territory
  • Accelerating PCIOL penetration
  • Facilitating the Accelerator program in selected accounts
  • Managing tender requirements working with internal teams
  • Working with Customer Operations on consignment, leveraging MyAlcon360
  • Developing new business with customers to achieve sales targets
  • Maintaining and optimizing existing relationships and managing business with existing key customers
  • Providing feedback on competitor activities in the field via line management
  • Maintaining and upholding an excellent company image

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with a deep knowledge of all IOLs, ability to detail the full portfolio of IOL products, and ability to competitively position Clareon vs. modified/advanced monofocals. You will be joining a talented team, committed to outstanding results where everyone shows high levels of collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.

Education and Experience:

Tertiary qualifications in optometry, orthoptics, science or business are required. 2-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles within a surgical environment or other industries is preferred. Strong understanding of ophthalmic procedures, product technology, and selling to the medical profession is essential.
