Senior Asset Strategist Role

We are seeking a Senior Asset Strategist to play a pivotal role in shaping our Residential Living asset class strategy, ensuring the effective deployment of member capital.

The successful candidate will possess advanced financial modelling skills and a solid understanding of residential property development and finance fundamentals. Strong strategic capabilities, business acumen, and sound judgment will be crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor economic, regulatory, and residential sector conditions to identify new opportunities and manage risk.
  2. Manage market intelligence and strategic research to formulate and regularly update a targeted national acquisition strategy.
  3. Review and contribute to the annual asset class review, ensuring strategies remain robust and effective.
  4. Lead transaction due diligence, reviewing complex financial models from prospective joint venture partners.
  5. Conduct detailed financial modelling of property and capital level inputs, making recommendations on deal structures based on opportunity, risks, and sensitivity analysis.
  6. Assist with managing external consultants for independent due diligence and preparing project plans and investment memoranda.
  7. Participate in monitoring joint venture investments, manage procurement of independent valuations, and assist with internal and external reporting.
