Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Administration Distribution Officer.

This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the food services team, including kitchen duties and administrative support. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


About This Role
  • Fulfill all administrational duties including switchboard, word processing, communication dissemination, and customer enquiries.
  • Complete accurate, reconciled, record keeping and data entry across multiple IT platforms.
  • Manage Meals on Wheels stock control processes including freezer work, stock rotation & inventory, meal packing & ordering.
  • Raise Purchase Orders and Receipting in line with Council processes.

Requirements
  • A current C Class Drivers License.
  • A Food Handling Certificate.
  • A minimum of 2 years administration experience.
  • Demonstrated experience using the Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience in food distribution is highly desirable including tasks such as lifting, stock rotation, inventory management, order processing, meticulous attention to detail regarding allergen labelling and packing.
  • Strong time management capabilities with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

  • Outline your previous experience and/or understanding of stock control processes, including picking/packing, ordering, rotation, inventory and record keeping.
  • Outline your previous experience working as a team member to meet shared deadlines and what role you took in that process.

Additional Information

This position requires the successful candidate to complete a Criminal History Records Check and a Pre-Employment Medical, which also includes a Drug and Alcohol test.
