Job Title: Aged Care Operations ManagerWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate Aged Care Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, you will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of aged care services.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the aged care industry.

You will be responsible for:

  • Operations Management
    • Supervising the daily operations of in-home aged care services
    • Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to enhance client satisfaction
    • Ensuring high standards of care for clients
  • Staff Leadership and Development
    • Recruiting, training, and mentoring staff members to cultivate a skilled and motivated workforce
    • Promoting a positive workplace culture
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Staying informed about aged care regulations and accreditation standards
    • Leading preparations for audits and assessments
  • Quality Assurance
    • Monitoring and assessing the quality of care and services provided
    • Implementing continuous improvement strategies
  • Client and Carer Communication
    • Fostering open and transparent communication channels with clients and their families

Requirements

  • Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing aged care facilities or healthcare organizations
  • In-depth knowledge of aged care regulations, compliance, and accreditation standards
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • An empathetic and compassionate approach to resident care and staff management
