Job Description

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team in Macedon, NY. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of assigned commercialization and capital projects, while also supporting, troubleshooting, and improving existing food processing cells and production lines.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, and a minimum of three years' engineering experience designing and executing on manufacturing equipment/capital projects. They will also have strong knowledge in process, mechanical, facilities, and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities include working effectively with R&D, engineering, maintenance, contractors, and other support teams to design, develop, procure, and implement new technology and/or retrofit existing food processing and production lines. The individual will also lead major investigations into equipment and/or process failures or inefficiencies; develop and implement corrective action plans and performance improvements.

  • Design, develop, and implement new technology and/or retrofit existing food processing and production lines.
  • Manage internal resources, 3rd party contractors, and vendors throughout the project and asset lifecycles.
  • Actively work with leadership and plant management to identify, evaluate, and assess opportunities for improving production efficiency, sustainability, and quality from an engineering perspective.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent engineering degree)
  • A minimum of three (3) years' engineering experiencing designing and executing on manufacturing equipment/capital projects.
  • Strong knowledge in process, mechanical, facilities, and packaging equipment.
