Cardiac Care Specialist

About the Role:

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-performing cardiac procedures in a dynamic and supportive environment.

  • Direct person-centred nursing care will be provided to patients/clients on a shift-by-shift basis in a defined clinical area with increasing autonomy over time.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

A key aspect of this role is providing individual case management, which will involve assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating outcomes.

Key duties may include:

  1. Delivering evidence-based practice in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
  2. Providing education and support to patients and their families to enhance their understanding of health conditions and treatment options.
  3. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of patient interactions and interventions.

This role requires a high level of autonomy, requiring the successful candidate to make sound judgments and decisions in a fast-paced environment.
