Clinical Nurse Educator

This role plays a pivotal part in driving excellence in clinical practice by delivering and evaluating education programs for nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and assess clinical education initiatives to enhance care quality and outcomes.
  • Apply evidence-based adult learning principles to support compliance and strategic objectives.
  • Mentor nursing staff to meet and maintain role-specific competencies.
  • Foster effective bedside teaching using expert clinical and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan relevant learning activities.
Requirements:
  • Holding current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated extensive clinical experience and/or post-registration qualification in the relevant speciality and nursing professional development/education.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change within the context of best practice clinical care and workplace culture.
  • A commitment to the ongoing development/enhancement of nursing practice within a patient-centred, multi-disciplinary clinical environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer skills including database programmes and data entry.
