Senior Claims Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Claims Manager to lead our team in South Australia.

About the Opportunity
  • Manage a portfolio of workers' compensation claims to achieve early and sustainable return-to-work outcomes while controlling claim costs effectively.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers, and other stakeholders to develop effective return-to-work strategies that meet customer needs.
  • Support injured workers and employers throughout the claim process, providing empathetic guidance and facilitating access to necessary services promptly.
  • Assess liability and recovery aspects in accordance with legislation and policies, conducting ongoing reviews of entitlements and payments accurately.
  • Handle escalations, providing coaching and mentoring to team members as required.
Key Requirements
  • A minimum three years of claims management experience in a similar role.
  • Empathetic, resilient, and motivated to deliver high-quality customer-centric support consistently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks and activities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills to build trust and rapport with key partners.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and independently in a dynamic environment.
