Bridge Maintenance Expert

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Bridge Maintenance Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating, designing, planning, procuring, and managing the construction of bridge maintenance works.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with technical standards and adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Detailed Design: Develop detailed designs of bridge maintenance schemes
  • Reporting: Prepare reports, investigations, feasibility studies, and assessments
  • Tender Management: Collaborate with commercial teams to prepare tender documents, preconstruction information, and construction packages
  • Contract Management: Support contract management activities, including tender evaluations and contract awards

Candidates should have civil engineering design experience, knowledge of health and safety, environmental, and commercial aspects of schemes, and be professionally qualified or working towards such qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Experience: Experience in civil engineering design
  • Qualifications: Professional qualification or working towards membership of a relevant professional body
  • Licenses: Valid UK driving license
