About the Role

The Area Manager (Project Manager) will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture project. Reporting to the Construction Manager, this position demands strong leadership skills to manage a large team of engineers and supervisors. The successful candidate will have experience in managing complex building or infrastructure projects and possess outstanding interpersonal, liaison, networking, team, and individual leadership skills. They will also have experience in managing a large sub-contractor environment and an ability to work to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities in a high-volume work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a large team of engineers and supervisors to deliver the project on time, cost, safety, and to quality.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring effective project execution and delivery.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring the project remains on track and within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
