Job Summary

As a Catering Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious and appetizing meals to residents. Under the direction of the Chef/Cook, you will work collaboratively with your team to deliver exceptional catering services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of high-quality catering services under the guidance of the Chef/Cook
  • Prepare daily meals and beverages that cater to individual resident needs, including special dietary requirements and allergies
  • Collaborate with the Care team to ensure familiarity with menus and the needs and preferences of residents
  • Perform cleaning tasks according to the schedule and maintain accurate sign-off sheets
  • Document resident requirements and any changes that occur during shifts
Requirements

About You: Demonstrated experience in food preparation and handling; Food Handling Certificate desirable; Effective communication skills; both written and verbal; Ability to prioritize workloads; Commitment to continuous quality improvement; Knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control; Proficiency in operating standard domestic and industrial equipment.
