Job Description

As a Care Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing person-centred care, respecting the rights and needs of each client
  • Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties
  • Supporting clients with daily errands, companionship, and activities
  • Preparing food, administering medications, and observing changes in health and wellbeing
  • Responding to emergency situations
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges
  • A National Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
  • An NSW Working with Children Check
  • A Driver's Licence
  • First Aid
  • CPR Certificate (Valid within last 12 months)
