Aboriginal Cultural Liaison Specialist

As an Aboriginal cultural liaison specialist, you will be working closely with a team of experts who conduct risk assessments and provide support to NSW Health workers responding to vulnerable children, young people, and families.
About The Role- Provide in-depth advice and guidance to the team on Aboriginal cultural practices and protocols.
- Engage with stakeholders to increase awareness, confidence, and appropriate responses to Aboriginal children and families.
- Collaborate with child protection and wellbeing teams to identify risks and develop effective solutions.
The role requires a deep understanding of Aboriginal culture, history, and community needs. You will work collaboratively with the community to develop and implement strategies that promote the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal children and families.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with Aboriginal communities and key stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice on Aboriginal cultural practices and protocols.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that reflect Aboriginal cultural perspectives.
