As an Indigenous Community Liaison Specialist, you will play a crucial role in fostering relationships with local Indigenous communities.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Indigenous community leaders, elders, and members.
- Provide advice and support to commands on local Indigenous issues.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with statutory bodies and other organizations.
- Assist community members with policing issues and engagement with statutory bodies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies for strengthening cooperation and communication between police and Indigenous communities.
Requirements:
