About the Role

We are seeking a skilled End User Computing Specialist to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in deploying, configuring, and managing end-user devices, as well as providing expert support for end-user computing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deployment and Management: Build, configure, and deploy laptops and workstations using Quest Kace Systems Deployment and Management tools.
  • End-User Support: Provide technical assistance for end-user computing devices, ensuring all systems run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including as-built documents, technical manuals, and process guides.
  • Change Management: Oversee changes within the organisation, balancing competing priorities and delivering projects within tight timeframes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with colleagues, senior executives, and external stakeholders to achieve organisational goals and ensure high levels of user satisfaction.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure all deployed devices adhere to security and compliance standards in line with organisational and governmental guidelines.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in deploying, configuring, and managing end-user devices, such as laptops and workstations, using Quest Kace Systems Deployment and Management tools.
  • Proven ability to provide expert support for end-user computing environments, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of all systems.
  • Experience in managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines, with the ability to maintain clear and accurate technical documentation.
  • In-depth understanding of security and compliance standards, with a proven track record of ensuring deployed devices meet organisational and governmental guidelines.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in a technical service desk position.
