This role involves reviewing and determining whether investors meet Anti-Money Laundering/Know Your Customer (AML/KYC), Common Reporting Standard/Fatca Due Diligence Obligation (CRS/FATCA DDO) requirements for Asset Manager or Custodian clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct due diligence reviews by gathering information from public sources, source tools, and customers to monitor and investigate accounts following AML/KYC, CRS/FATCA, and DDO standards.
- Perform customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced customer due diligence (ECDD), and politically exposed persons (PEP) and sanction screening reviews.
- Monitor customer transactions and identify suspicious behavior to prepare and report suspicious matter reports (SMRs).
- Apply due diligence procedures as outlined in FATCA and CRS rules.
- Escalate issues/risks within specified service level agreements (SLAs).
- Serve as the first point of contact for queries regarding account setup applications from team and internal stakeholders.
- Provide subject matter expert support to onshore and offshore teams for account setup queries.
- Manage and complete deliverables per client service level agreements (SLAs).
