
Quality Improvement Specialist

The role of Project Manager - Quality Improvement Specialist is to provide project management support for the improvement of quality outcomes reporting in a healthcare environment.
This involves working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve maximum financial returns yearly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting medical record reviews to identify areas for quality improvement, with a focus on HEDIS and risk adjustment coding gaps information for value-based payers in the ambulatory environment.
- Providing project management support to improve quality outcomes reporting for health care programs.
Requirements include:
- A bachelor's degree in a health or social services related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Three years of experience in a healthcare or health services field, including medical record review for HEDIS.
- Experience with electronic medical records and project management.
The selected candidate will be able to navigate complex situations independently and complete tasks with minimal direction.
They will also be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and maintain confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
