This role plays a critical part in bridging engineering design, manufacturing operations, and quality assurance. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to support process development, problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to generate clear and effective work instructions

  • Facilitate training of manufacturing and quality control technicians on new processes, procedures, and inspection techniques

  • Monitor and evaluate departmental performance against quality objectives and output metrics

  • Analyze non-conformance trends and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions

  • Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB) process to evaluate and disposition non-conforming materials

  • Lead warranty and customer return investigations, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions

  • Support the development and maintenance of inspection and test plans, control plans, and process validation activities

  • Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and support internal and external audits

  • Participate in New Product Development activities to ensure product quality from concept through production

  • Contribute to internal root cause investigations, risk assessments, and process improvement projects

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a quality engineering or manufacturing engineering role within a regulated or precision manufacturing environment

  • Proven ability to develop and document work instructions and training materials

  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality control teams

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using root cause analysis tools

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite of applications
