Job Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Pastoral Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering pastoral care services to residents and clients, ensuring their cultural and spiritual wellbeing.

Key responsibilities include providing personal spiritual support, supporting mission formation activities, and working in a safe manner to protect yourself and others.

You will work closely with the residential team to provide comprehensive care that respects the values, customs, and spiritual beliefs of residents.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and contribute to a values-based organisation.

  • Provide spiritual support and care services to residents and clients.
  • Support mission formation activities for employees within the residential aged care home.
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents.
Key Qualifications
  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Pastoral Care or similar qualifications in theology or spirituality.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith, particularly as it relates to dignity of life and aged care.
  • Commitment to supporting the pastoral/spiritual care needs of the sick and elderly and their family members.
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
