Role Overview

This role provides meaningful pastoral care services to those in need across our region. It involves using our values and principles to deliver culturally relevant, age-appropriate, and sensitive care.

As a Pastoral Practitioner, you will:

  • Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our pastoral care team.
  • Engage in effective relationship management.
  • Maintain ongoing professional, personal, and spiritual development.
  • Maintain accurate and appropriate documentation and reporting.

Essential Criteria:

Qualifications:

- One or more units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or equivalent.

- Relevant pastoral or theological study.

Your experience should include:

- Working effectively within a large, complex organization.

- Understanding of pastoral and spiritual needs.

- Demonstrated empathy and affinity with vulnerable individuals.

- Understanding of the distinctions between Religion and Spirituality.

- Basic knowledge of different faiths.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Graduate qualification in a relevant field.
