We are seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to plan and execute events that drive business growth and brand awareness.
Job Description:This role involves coordinating the delivery of annual event series, ensuring they meet key objectives such as sales/client success/marketing uplift or brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:- Event Planning: Scope and plan the delivery of annual event series, ensuring they meet key objectives
- Brief Alignment: Ensure strategic briefs for each event are aligned with marketing and other stakeholders
- Project Management: Act as Project Manager to manage deadlines and ensure successful event delivery
- Workflow Management: Set up and manage workflows using platforms
- Creative Direction: Provide creative direction for event collateral with relevant experts
- Speaker Program: Manage the speaker program by sourcing/maintaining relevant stakeholders
- Webinars and Online Forums: Support the delivery of webinars/other online forums
- Onsite Coordination: Act as the primary onsite point-of-contact in the staging across major events in Australia/Asia
- Third-Party Event Support: Liaise with Digital teams on the setup of third-party event support
- Event Budgeting: Contribute to the establishment, management, tracking of event budgets
- Travel Arrangements: Manage all assigned travel arrangements and in-country itineraries for SMEs/Events
- Sponsor Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end process of acquisition of sponsors
- Licensing and Compliance: Oversee the purchase of relevant event necessities & licenses, ensuring relevant policies/legalities are met
- Qualifications: Qualifications in marketing, events or other relevant field
- Event Experience: Extensive full lifecycle event management experience
- Years of Experience: Numerous years (ideally 5 years plus but a minimum of 5 years) delivering high quality events for large or small scale corporate organisations
- Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills from third party, SME's & VIP's
- Project Management Skills: Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Negotiation and Vendor Management: Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Tradeshow Delivery: Experience of delivery processes for high-end tradeshows
- Supplier Management: Able to work with a range of suppliers in-country and internationally
- Multiple Systems and Processes: Demonstrated ability to master multiple systems and processes to support successful delivery of events
- Sponsorship Acquisition: Experience of processes for sponsorship acquisition
- Time Management and Organisation: Excellent time management and organisational skills
