Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Planning Professional to join our team. As a Principal/Senior Planner, you will contribute to the success of our business by providing expert planning and resource management advice in statutory and strategic planning.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of land development, infrastructure, and strategic planning projects across New South Wales. Your skills and expertise will be developed through collaboration with our team and participation in ongoing professional development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in urban planning research, data analysis and report writing and a comprehensive knowledge of NSW urban planning and environmental legislation.
  • Act as project manager with planning, programming and coordination of projects to ensure that project outputs meet or exceed agreed goals.
  • Develop project plans and strategies for the completion of major projects including identification of business resource requirements.
  • Manage or assist with the preparation of strategies, reports, environmental impact assessments and other planning documentation and submissions on behalf of clients.
  • Undertake technical and quality reviews of documentation prepared by the planning team to ensure that documentation and service levels meet or exceed client's expectations.
  • Lead and assist with the preparation of tender documentation.
  • Foster client relationships and identify business opportunities.
  • Grow, develop and mentor junior staff.
