We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Transportation Assistant to support the efficient operation of our transportation department at IIQAF. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in coordinating and managing transportation logistics, ensuring accurate records, and providing support to drivers and other team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Transportation Activities: Assist in scheduling transportation activities, including trucking routes and driver assignments.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of transportation operations, including driver logs, vehicle maintenance records, and fuel usage.
  • Prepare and Distribute Documents: Prepare and distribute transportation documents, such as bills of lading and delivery schedules.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate with drivers, customers, and other team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Monitor Shipments: Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are delivered on time and meet customer requirements.
  • Resolve Issues: Assist in resolving transportation-related issues, such as delays, route changes, and equipment malfunctions.
  • Implement Safety Programs: Support the implementation and maintenance of transportation safety programs and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a transportation or logistics role preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in using transportation software and applications.
  • Licenses: Valid driver's license.
