Job Summary

We are seeking a Financial Lines Specialist to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client and insurance claims, providing advocacy on complex Financial Lines and Transaction Liability Insurance matters, and developing policy advice and drafting.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading global professional services firm, supporting the provision of key specialty insurance products across multiple industries. As a Financial Lines Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Primary contact for a portfolio of client and insurance claims, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders
  • Advocacy on complex Financial Lines and Transaction Liability Insurance matters, including strategy and front-end advice on coverage and liability issues
  • Monitor and review regulatory and case law developments, producing client advisory white papers and providing insights on insurer claims behaviour
  • Financial Lines and Transaction Liability Insurance policy advice and drafting, including policy comparisons and manuscript endorsements/policy forms
  • Participation in business development opportunities, including policy wording health-checks, technical and claims commentary in tenders, and involvement in new business presentations
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong customer service focus and commercial claims experience, with a working knowledge of Financial Lines
  • The ability to take on additional role responsibilities, prioritise tasks effectively, and manage your time well
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to drive positive outcomes with key stakeholders
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a fit-for-purpose project management approach
  • Outcome-focused, able to overcome obstacles and deliver designated outcomes
