About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to join our team at IKEA. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operation of the sales team.
  • Support daily operational problems and react appropriately to urgent issues.
  • Share specialist knowledge of the IKEA product range, services, and tools to secure a high level of competence within the team.
  • Encourage the team to actively sell the departments top-selling products, prioritised products, and IKEA service products to maximise sales and long-term profitability.
  • Keep the sales area clean, tidy, priced, and fully stocked, and ensure that the IKEA basic merchandising standards are always in place to give customers a positive shopping experience.
Requirements
  • Possess a strong passion for home furnishing and creating a positive everyday life for customers.
  • Be able to optimise sales through thorough knowledge of the IKEA product range, local market, and customers.
  • Be adaptable and energetic, with strong verbal and written communication skills for successful stakeholder management.
  • Be friendly and comfortable with connecting and interacting with people and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be comfortable with coordinating the team, setting priorities, and delegating responsibility.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster an inclusive and positive co-worker experience.
