Job Title: Engineering Manager for Technical Leadership

About the Job:

We're seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead our technical team in driving innovation and excellence. As a trusted leader, you'll oversee high-performance software development, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead distributed engineering teams to design and implement cutting-edge software solutions.
  • Engage with commercial partners to deliver exceptional results and drive business growth.
  • Develop and mentor engineers through coaching, mentoring, and feedback.
  • Oversee commercial engagements and ensure timely delivery on project milestones.
  • Ensure strict quality and reliability standards are maintained across all projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product architecture and roadmaps.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with Linux distributions, Debian packaging, and server-class hardware.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interpret customer needs and effectively communicate solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing or leading software engineering teams.
  • Understanding of agile software development methodologies.
  • Effective collaboration across multiple internal teams, building trust and delivering results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology field (or equivalent).
