About the RoleThe Roy Hill team is currently seeking an experienced Specialist HR to join them on a 5/2 roster based in the Roy Hill headquarters. Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, you will be responsible for collaborating, coaching, and advising senior leaders on effective implementation of people policies, processes, and practices to ensure effective management of people and culture and drive productivity across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with department leadership teams and line managers to align HR strategies with business needs.
- Harmonize and implement key HR guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure consistency.
- Provide expert HR operational advice, support, and coaching across the entire HR life cycle for the assigned portfolio/departments.
- Deliver both strategic and tactical HR support and programs, including performance management, organizational design, remuneration, and benefits, and employee relations.
- Engage with key leaders, influence coaching, guiding, and supporting talent management efforts.
- Advise on performance matters and contribute to succession planning initiatives.
- Support a culture of process improvement, streamlining HR processes.
- Extensive experience in senior human resources roles advising senior leaders on all HR and ER issues.
- Experience in mining and resources sector or construction environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that support strong ability to create and maintain professional relationships.
- Thorough understanding of the Fair Work Act.
- Detailed understanding of HRIS and processes.
