Hitachi Construction Machinery is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.

The Opportunity:
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a company that values your lifestyle, offering flexible rosters with job security and stability. Your key focus will be performing planned maintenance and carrying out major component change-outs across various mine sites throughout the Pilbara and North West regions.
You will work alongside experienced team members, united in your approach to completing quality OEM-level work while providing excellent customer service to our clients.

About the Role:

  • Performing planned maintenance and major component change-outs on mining equipment
  • Working alongside experienced team members to ensure quality OEM-level work
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients
  • Ensuring the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed, and driven from within
  • Holding relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) mobile plant trade qualifications
  • Having experience, knowledge, and understanding of mining equipment
  • Having a strong work ethic and the ability to work in remote areas within a supported team
  • Having good communication and customer service skills with the ability to build long-term relationships

Benefits:

  • Competitive starting wage, 15% nightshift loading, zone allowance, and the potential to earn bi-annual bonuses
  • Multiple rosters and ad hoc available
  • Scaled rates – starting rate $67/hr, potential to qualify for $85/hr based on yearly performance & training completed
  • Superannuation paid on all ordinary hours up to 12 hours per rostered shift
  • Minimum 12hrs paid for all work days whilst working in the Pilbara on rostered days
  • 1hr of Airport standby time & 2hrs of flight travel time paid to/from the Pilbara
  • All travel hours on site paid – airport to site, intersite, and site to camp / vice versa
  • Reimbursements paid for transport to and from home to airport, or airport parking
  • Brand new HP Laptop provided to new employees – no more paper timesheets
  • 12hrs paid fatigue days whilst in the Pilbara
  • 210hr annual leave & 10 days' personal leave per annum
