Administrative Support Specialist for Regional Landcare

NRM Environmental Jobs, NRM is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join our team.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and proactive individual to provide administrative support for our Regional Landcare office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, coordinating with staff and stakeholders, and maintaining accurate records.
The role requires strong administration and office management skills, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in grant writing, report preparation, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the administration of the Regional Landcare office, including payroll, accounts, and record-keeping;
- Coordinate with staff and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program activities, outcomes, and resources;
- Prepare reports and documentation to support program delivery and evaluation;
- Liaise with local groups to develop and implement Local Priority Action Plans;
- Support Local Landcare Coordinators with reporting and program delivery;
- Facilitate the implementation of regional projects and processes into the SEL administrative systems;
- Provide executive and steering committee secretarial and financial duties;
- Maintain stakeholder records of the regional Landcare network and facilitate alignment of systems at the district and local level;
- Assist with the development, adoption, and delivery of common technologies, systems, and processes among Landcare groups in the region;
- Support training and skill development for coordinators, committees, and volunteers through the Regional Community of Practice and related activities;
- 3+ years' experience in administration or a related field;
- Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Experience in grant writing and report preparation;
- Knowledge of natural resource management issues and empathy with the local community;
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
- Availability to travel from time to time and ability to work outside regular hours as needed.
$60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
