Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Program Manager to support the delivery of our NSW Landcare Program. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale programs, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Program Manager in delivering the NSW Landcare Program, ensuring timely and budget-friendly outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regional councils, stakeholders, and community groups.
  • Support the development of regional council surveys and reports for Landcare NSW Council meetings.
  • Assist with the logistics and delivery of NSW Landcare Program and State-wide Gatherings.
  • Work with the LNSW marcomms team to develop a communications plan for the program.
  • Compile reports and updates on program progress, including milestone reporting to the Joint Management Committee.
Requirements
  • At least five years' experience in managing large-scale programs, preferably in a community-led or environmental context.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, including regional councils, community groups, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate program risks.
