About the Role

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Assistants in Nursing & Midwifery to join the casual pool at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network and work in one or more of our diverse health units located in various locations across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Registered Nurses with routine tasks with patients associated with the activities of daily living.
  • Work at all times under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and may also be overseen by an Enrolled Nurse within a care team.
  • Partner with consumers to deliver excellent health care and improve the health and wellbeing of local communities.

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must be enrolled as a student in an undergraduate program in nursing or midwifery and have completed any relevant training. You will also need to possess effective verbal and written communication skills and be able to follow instructions.
