Exciting Opportunity for a Pediatric Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Women's and Children's Health Network. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to infants, children, and young people in our Paediatric Medicine department.

About the Role:

  • Support the Registered Nurse in delivering person-centred care, adhering to regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Practice at a novice to proficient level as an Enrolled Nurse, working under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Retain responsibility for personal actions and remain accountable for providing high-quality nursing care.

About You:

  • You hold a current practicing certificate and are registered or eligible for registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • You have experience in the provision of nursing care in a healthcare setting, aligned with the appropriate standards of practice.
  • You possess effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • You can prioritise workload, recognise changes in clinical conditions, and provide person-centred care.
