">Social Support Specialist - Military Community Service">

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Support Specialist to support veterans, their families, and the wider military community through programs aimed at improving their quality of life.


">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans for clients using a veteran-centred approach.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct home and hospital visits to provide essential wellbeing services to veterans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and non-profit organizations.
  • Monitor client progress and escalate complex issues when necessary.
">Requirements & Qualifications">
  1. Degree in Humanities/Arts (Social Welfare), Health Sciences, or related field, and 3-5 years' relevant experience.
  2. Extensive knowledge and experience in Strength-based Case Management.
  3. Empathy and experience in working in sensitive environments.
  4. Understanding of ADF and veteran community needs (desirable).
  5. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
