we are proud to assist current and former ADF members and their families through

tailored educational and assessment support offered via Shield Tuition and Shield

Health Support.

We are looking for a service driven, detail-oriented, and motivated Veteran Claims

Manager to join our growing team.

What You'll Do

You will play an important role in supporting our Veteran families nationally.

Reporting to the CEO, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading our small but growing DVA Claims Team.
  • Responding to Veteran-specific enquiries about our tutoring and health
  • services.
  • Assessing eligibility for Veteran programs and guiding families through
  • processes and paperwork.
  • Applying DVA policy and framework to provide clear advice on DVA supports
  • available to our clients
  • Liaising with schools and teachers to facilitate the completion of required forms, applications, and student academic results and support needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records and inputting key information into our internal
  • CRM systems.
  • Identifying service efficiencies, innovations and enhancements that can improve customer experience.

Who You Are

You're someone who thrives in a purpose-driven, busy environment and brings

strong communication, coordination, and administrative skills.

You have:

  • Experience working with diverse communities, particularly within the Veteran,
  • health, education, or human services sectors.
  • The ability to understand and apply legislative frameworks (e.g., DVA
  • guidelines).
  • Strong digital literacy and administrative capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to helping our Veteran families and students achieve positive
  • outcomes.

Highly regarded:

  • Experience in Veteran advocacy, case management, or support roles.
  • Background in case management, customer service, or administration.
