Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective safety procedures to mitigate risks.
  • Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Facilitate safety meetings to strengthen our health and wellbeing culture.
  • Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and refresher training to enhance employee competence.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, policies, and compliance systems.
  • Report incidents and safety data for senior leadership review.
  • Coordinate Return to Work processes in line with relevant legislation.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with WHS legislation, workers' compensation frameworks, and risk management principles.
  • Proven experience developing, reviewing, and maintaining safety policies and SWOPs.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and coaching skills to drive positive outcomes.
  • Experience coordinating RTW programs and supporting injured employees.
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar safety role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and incident reporting systems.
