Director of Workplace Wellbeing

The Health, Safety and Wellbeing team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the Group's commitment to fulfilling corporate and legal health, safety and wellbeing responsibilities. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining systems and processes to provide a safe and healthy work environment.
You will assist with the effective delivery of the Group's health, safety and wellbeing strategy to all business units. This includes engaging and consulting with managers and stakeholders to drive improvements in health, safety and wellbeing performance and outcomes.
A key aspect of this role is collaborating with other areas of the broader HS&W Team to ensure seamless connection between project development and delivery to businesses. Additionally, you will coordinate and conduct internal health and safety audits, participate in external health and safety audits as required, and undertake risk and research projects, reports, presentations and serious incident investigations.
As a Senior Consultant, you will also provide professional and timely health and safety advice and strategic direction. You will develop professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Formal tertiary qualifications in a health and safety (or related) field
- Exceptional customer management/service skills
- Strong ability to manage external stakeholders of various levels
- Agile mindset to balance competing priorities
- First-rate communication skills (written and oral)
- Broad HS&W technical skills
Experience in a health and safety role, ideally from the finance sector, is highly desirable.
