About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our team in Sydney, NSW. As a key member of our People and Culture Division, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and execution of our risk and compliance management framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the implementation and execution of the risk and compliance management framework, partnering with the business to ensure that current and emerging risks are appropriately identified, assessed, and monitored.
  • Manage the implementation and execution of the risk and compliance management framework and prepare appropriate reports on risk and compliance performance.
  • Provide analysis of thematic risk and compliance issues arising from control self-assessment results, compliance incidents, breaches, risk incidents, and operational losses, escalating to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the business with the development, execution, and monitoring of remedial activity for operational loss, compliance incidents.
  • Facilitate workshops, provide advisory, and guide management on risk and compliance matters.
  • Develop an action plan to address emerging business compliance risks in accordance with the current Risk Management Framework.
About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in risk and compliance, preferably in a complex, matrixed general insurance or financial services organization. You will have a proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends, and links that inform judgments and solutions.

You will also have the ability to plan and prioritize effectively, organize tasks, and manage competing resources and demands. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline are preferred, demonstrating technical understanding of design and operating effectiveness of controls.
