We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Retail Optimisation team as a Workforce Planning Capability Manager. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to uphold country-specific workforce priorities and drive impactful optimisation initiatives.



Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and operationalize consistent systems and processes that support delivery of business strategy and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align and support workforce optimisation objectives based on country priorities.
  • Identify and capitalise on opportunities for optimisation, leading to tangible improvements.
  • Use insight and data to take ownership of strategic planning, encompassing scheduling operations and ensuring scheduling compliance in all regions.
  • Ensure the configuration of systems and rules meets operational requirements effectively.
  • Work in tandem with the People and Performance team to provide technical and behavioural training, empowering users with ongoing system proficiency.
  • Monitor and assess system performance metrics, generating insights for key stakeholders.
  • Analyse compliance data, extracting valuable insights and proposing recommendations.
  • Coach stakeholders in adopting new behaviours and practices aligned with workforce management frameworks.


Requirements and Skills

You will need a proven track record in workforce optimization and strategic planning, ideally in retail. A deep understanding of business operations and financial dynamics is essential, enabling you to make decisions that align with commercial objectives.



Proficiency in crafting and executing effective strategies to drive organisational growth and success with proven experience influencing key stakeholders is mandatory.



A capability to identify challenges, analyse root causes, and develop innovative solutions is a must. The ability to make well-considered decisions by weighing various factors and potential outcomes is also essential.



An open mindset that embraces creativity and encourages the exploration of new ideas and approaches is highly valued. A collaborative nature that allows you to effectively work with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals is also required.
