About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Planning Capability Manager to join our Retail Optimisation team. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to uphold country-specific workforce priorities and drive impactful optimisation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and operationalise consistent systems and processes that support delivery of business strategy and customer experience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align and support workforce optimisation objectives based on country priorities.
- Identify and capitalise on opportunities for optimisation, leading to tangible improvements.
- Use insight and data to take ownership of strategic planning, encompassing scheduling operations and ensuring scheduling compliance in all regions.
- Ensure the configuration of systems and rules meets operational requirements effectively.
- Work in tandem with the People and Performance team to provide technical and behavioural training, empowering users with ongoing system proficiency.
- Monitor and assess system performance metrics, generating insights for key stakeholders.
- Analyse compliance data, extracting valuable insights and proposing recommendations.
- Coach stakeholders in adopting new behaviours and practices aligned with workforce management frameworks.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in workforce optimisation and strategic planning, ideally in retail.
- Deep understanding of business operations and financial dynamics, enabling you to make decisions that align with commercial objectives.
- Proficiency in crafting and executing effective strategies to drive organisational growth and success with proven experience influencing key stakeholders.
- Capability to identifying challenges, analysing root causes, and developing innovative solutions.
- The ability to make well-considered decisions by weighing various factors and potential outcomes.
- Open mindset that embraces creativity and encourages the exploration of new ideas and approaches.
- Collaborative nature that allows you to effectively work with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
