General Manager People & Culture

Pacific Blue Australia is a leading renewable energy provider, and we're seeking an experienced General Manager People & Culture to join our team.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead a small team of professionals who are passionate about creating a positive and inclusive work environment. As a member of our executive committee, you will be responsible for developing and driving a holistic longer-term resourcing strategy, supporting the CEO in assessing and improving organization effectiveness, and overseeing key people practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive a holistic longer-term resourcing strategy
  • Support the CEO in assessing and improving organization effectiveness
  • Oversee key people practices, including team building, recognition and reward, retention, learning and development, succession planning, performance improvement, and compliant competitive policies
  • Oversee the HR Cycle plan and international assignments
  • Ensure programs are in place to address the personnel requirements of the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) legislation
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualified
  • Experienced working at the executive level and developing and presenting board papers
  • Flexible and responsive to changing workforce impacts
  • Practical and able to deliver HR solutions to support the delivery of the business plan
  • Experienced in a global organization, ideally in the renewable energy sector
