About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Site Operations Manager at NovaSource Power Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our solar farms and power generation facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on solar farm equipment and infrastructure.
  • Work closely with our engineering team to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with our maintenance plans and procedures.
  • Interface with and manage subcontractors and other workers on site, including site inductions and daily pre-start meetings.
  • Continuously report on work status and scheduling to our regional manager and solar asset manager, including complete and detailed documentation of all work performed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Timely documentation of works performed using our supplied framework.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of solar farm operations and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of organizational and time management skills.
  • Current electrical license (unrestricted) and other relevant certifications.
  • Experience with data communications (SCADA, dataloggers, routers) and high voltage switching.
