Hungry Jack's is a leading quick-service restaurant chain with over 440 locations across Australia, serving a wide range of customers. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of your restaurant, ensuring that it operates safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Safety Leadership
    • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with local legislation and company standards.
    • Lead the Restaurant Safety Committee to promote a culture of safety across the restaurant.
    • Manage employee, guest, and contractor incidents and injuries, and facilitate the Return to Work process.
    • Ensure safety and security procedures are enforced.
  • Create a Guest-Obsessed Culture
    • Interview, hire, train, and supervise staff to deliver exceptional guest service.
    • Evaluate employee performance, promotions, disciplinary discussions, and resolve employee grievances.
    • Ensure guests receive prompt service and quality food.
    • Execute the National Marketing Plan to maintain a consistent guest experience.
    • Respond to guest inquiries and feedback, and provide corrective actions or escalation as needed.
    • Own national incentive programs to improve the guest experience.
  • Build the Brand (Business Planning)
    • Utilize the Business Priority Plan to continually improve restaurant performance.
    • Review business results regularly and communicate to staff, with clear action plans implemented to achieve improvement.
    • Lead community engagement initiatives to improve visibility and build brand loyalty.
  • Lead a High-Performing Team
    • Create a culture that emphasizes growth, trust, and accountability.
    • Build a high-performing team with effective shift coverage and productive staff.
    • Develop and maintain a succession plan to engage and retain internal talent.
    • Partner with the Training Coach to execute the Restaurant Training Plan.
  • Manage the Business (Profit and Controllables)
    • Accurately project and monitor sales to ensure rostering and ordering support the guest obsession.
    • Plan and prepare work schedules and assign staff to specific duties.
    • Manage controllables to achieve profit goals.
    • Ensure regular stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records.
    • Verify sales data and follow up on point-of-sale irregularities.
    • Ensure accurate inventory ordering based on sales projections.
