About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team at Nova Source Power Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our solar farms and energy storage projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Replacement of key components, such as modules and inverter components.
  • Maintenance of inverters or associated electrical components.
  • Work alongside our Engineering team on the SCADA system.
  • Promptly respond to and execute necessary repairs of faulty equipment.
  • Interface with, and management of subcontractors and other workers on site, including site inductions, daily pre-start meetings, etc.
  • Continuous reporting of work status and scheduling to our Regional Manager and Solar Asset Manager, including complete and detailed documentation of all work performed, involving daily time tracking and use of our CMMS system.
  • WHS reporting and adherence to WHS protocols as established by Nova Source policy.
  • Timely documentation of works performed using our supplied framework.
Requirements

  • Being able to efficiently execute tasks, as defined by a maintenance plan.
  • Demonstrate strong organization skills with excellent problem solving and effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Knowledge and experience in Solar Farm O&M, plant and equipment.
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand plans, drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of current industry standards, specifications, industry best practice and Australian Standards.
  • Current Electrical License (unrestricted).
  • Construction White Card.
  • Current & Valid Driver's License.
  • Valid First Aid (CPR) & Low Voltage (LV) Rescue.
  • Australian Work Rights.
  • Experience with Data Communications (SCADA, dataloggers, routers).
  • High Voltage Switching – training can be provided.
