Maritime Project Director

We're seeking an accomplished maritime expert to lead our team in Brisbane. As a Technical Director, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our maritime projects.

This technical leadership position focuses on expanding our market share, developing project pipelines, overseeing project delivery, and showcasing technical expertise across regions.

You'll have the opportunity to work on diverse, challenging projects in key sectors (Ports, Defence, Transport, Energy, and Advisory) both in Australia and internationally.

Taking a collaborative approach, you'll be involved in:

  • Leading client engagement and stakeholder management across various maritime projects.
  • Project management to add value throughout the project lifecycle and deliver outputs to requirements, quality, program, and budget expectations.
  • Mentoring project teams, including less experienced team members.
  • Contributing to business growth activities, including building relationships with clients.
  • Collaborating with international colleagues on project delivery, technical leadership, and pursuing opportunities.
About You

We're looking for a professional with approximately 15-20 years of experience in planning, assessment, analysis, design, and remediation of maritime structures.

Your skills should include:

  • Technical leadership experience in maritime infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering large projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant standards and industry best practices.
  • Experience in identifying opportunities and building client relationships to drive growth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil or Structural Engineering with relevant registration/ chartership.
